Maple Park Café - Terms & Conditions
1. Bookings & Confirmation
1.1 All bookings are subject to availability and must be confirmed directly with Maple Park Café.
2. Guest Numbers
2.1 Approximate guest numbers should be provided at the time of booking so we can allocate the most suitable space.
2.2 Final guest numbers and dietary requirements should be confirmed no later than 2 working days before the event.
2.3 We understand guest numbers can be difficult to predict following a funeral and will always aim to be as flexible as reasonably possible where practical.
3. Dietary Requirements
3.1 Please let us know of any dietary requirements or allergies at least 2 working days prior to the event and we will do our best to accommodate them.
4. Catering & Packages
4.1 Funeral tea bookings include catering as part of the package and room hire is not available on a standalone basis.
4.2 Bespoke menu options may be available on request and will be priced individually.
5. Payment
5.1 Full payment is required 24 hours prior to the event via bank transfer.
5.2 Probate or solicitor payments can only be accepted if made prior to the event.
5.3 If alternative payment arrangements are required, please contact us in advance to discuss options.
6. Venue Use
6.1 Venue access is available only during agreed booking times. A minimum booking period of two hours is guaranteed and will be confirmed during the booking process.
6.2 Guests are expected to behave respectfully and adhere to all venue rules. The lead organiser of the booking is responsible for any damages caused during the event.
7. Alcohol
7.1 Maple Park Café does not hold an alcohol licence and cannot sell alcoholic drinks.
7.2 Guests may bring a small amount of alcohol for respectful consumption during funeral gatherings, by prior agreement with the café. As a guide, we kindly ask this is limited to approximately one drink per guest.
8. Liability
8.1 Maple Park Café accepts no responsibility for loss, damage or injury occurring on the premises unless caused by our negligence.
8.2 Guests are responsible for personal belongings brought onto the premises at their own risk.
9. Force Majeure
9.1 Maple Park Café cannot be held responsible for cancellations or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, government restrictions or other unforeseen events.
